I guess I was in love with a cop once. Didn't feel like love
   though. tongue emoticon Was on stage a few times in plays. Maybe
   that's what it is: feeling like you have to act a certain way,
   following a LONG LIST of complicated, conflicting rules you
   learn in elementary/middle school about "how to act around your
   crush" and none of them helping at all because they're all
   completely and utterly wrong, so you're still stuck, feeling
   naked and exposed and afraid to take a wrong step.

   We get lots of bad advice on how to act around someone you're in
   love with and throwing that bad advice away can take years
   because they become a part of how you think.
