The most common miscomprehension I encounter about evolution is
   when it's used freely as a metaphor inappropriately and applied
   to human thought or computers or technology or progress or
   whatever.

   With corrections from Darwin's original concepts through the
   many decades, Evolutionary theory is fine.

   But lifted out of its original context and applied in places
   where it simply doesn't belong, is the most common
   miscomprehension I encounter about evolution.

   Then again, I hang around intellectuals. I hear myths about the
   type of people you guys are talking about but I've only met one
   in person and it turned out he was just testing me.
