   first 7 ecumenical councils were run by the very same peoples
   (Greeks and those influenced by them) who INVENTED the basis of
   the very logic we use today.

   They were VERY MUCH knowledgeable about logic, rhetoric and the
   like. They INVENTED the techniques.
