When Morla was still wild in the Swamps of Sadness. Apparently,
   it was the Swamps of Sadness that was the cause of her
   melancholy. Once she was captured and put into the Zoo, they
   realized her allergies to children had become a permanent
   condition and the glass was required to avoid extreme sneezing
   fits.
