I've been told I probably have synesthesia but I tend to think
   I'm more poetic than anything. (awesome that you see colors - I
   might but I find I have to block a lot of inner mental imagry
   out) What I tend to get is pictures of things that make the same
   sounds and even more often than that...   I get every freakin'
   song in my head that has the same note or rhythm start playing
   at the SAME TIME. Total cacophany but I'm used to it.

   Like just now, the air conditioner kicked on. It's somewhere
   between a B flat and an A, with a strong harmonic at e flat/e

   So in my mind, that's a B major/minor chord... or B flat
   major/minor ish [or one of several others depending on my mood].

   Since I'm in a good mood... there's Radioactive from Imagine
   Dragons playing at the same time as Bruno Mars Lazy Song, Sweet
   Caroline from Neil Diamond, Ghostbusters, You are not alone by
   Michael Jackson, Ordinary World by Duran Duran, Born in the USA
   by Springsteen, Isn't it Ironic, memories of playing clarinet
   scales in the 4th/5th grade... a couple of Beethoven and Brahms,
   some dramatic movie orchestrated pieces....

   and I'm slightly irritated the whole time because the air
   conditioner is JUST out of tune ever so slightly.
