I've had to for pragmatic reasons. I don't believe it's a hoax
   per se yet not entirely without some tarnishing.

   Nevertheless, I believe the results that a large community
   belief in global warming-as-happening-just-as-they-say will LEAD
   TO are pragmatic enough to stand behind "as if" true.

   Is it dishonesty from my part? Likely. But I believe in the
   ends, even if the means are a little off.
