I believe our affinity to nature is because we're a part of it. I also don't believe there is anything unnatural; even our very thoughts are natural, whatever they are, as they are the product of nature as well. Am I using nature as a synonym for God? In my systems, it's just an automatic synonym. God = Nature = Nature = God. For others, there's a complicated bunch of theology and it gets a little strange. I believe things happen. I believe we're a part of things. Accidental or deliberate? If Laws of Nature is synonymous with God is the equations (from a mathematical perspective), I have no problem with that. But, such is word games. So, I remain agnostic. I accept synonymous usage of words as equivalent-enough, but without exactitude and without the baggage attached. Once the baggage is added (or implied by the reader), then I have to say, "No, that's not what I mean". So, I stay agnostic.
