   definitions are produced. Some definitions come from usage. Some
   come from fine-tuning based upon the particular needs of a
   subculture.

   In one subculture, a glossary will have a precise set of
   definitions that work within their subculture.

   Another subculture may operate from a different glossary that
   utilizes the same words but utilizes other meanings that may
   differ.

   It's not that either side is more right or wrong, but "speaking
   the same language" is critical in negotiating meaning.
