That's a good question actually.
   I see both people and bacteria in colonies as equally
   intelligent. I don't know what "stupid" means, except, "you're
   not agreeing with the 'us' therefore you are the stupid".
   Intelligence can both mean: Ability to come up with novel
   concepts/solutions/questions/creativity and ALSO can mean: the
   ability to duplicate someone else's thinking processes (school)
   and apply them consistently.

   SO, it depends how it's used.
