Life is painful and financially hard and full of bullshit in
   every generation. I never understood how people could
   justifiably compare generations like that. Rules are always
   changing - mostly that there's never been any rules. We're all
   just making them up as we go along and hoping they stick like
   spaghetti stuck to a bleeding wall of financial pain... or...
   something.
