There's always something you can do to bring things closer. I
   don't expect to 'get it', but I expect closer with effort - or
   with waiting. But getting the 'it'? No. I always related as a
   kid to Moses when I was in sunday school - he nearly reached the
   promised land, then died behind a rock before getting there.
   Good enough 'cause he brought a lot of people with him who
   didn't die behind a rock.
