Efficiency isn't always true though. Sometimes it's "Whatever
   works and keeps working". Many complicated systems arise and
   continue, not because they're the most efficient way but rather
   they started working and just kept working. Life works. Is it
   efficient? Nah. But it started working and kept working. smile
