It's facing some difficulties. Standard Model seems to hold it's
   own again and again over SUSY. But then we get tantalizing clues
   that MAYBE a bigger machine will find them, once LHC runs its
   main course of experiments.. But will funding come? Well,
   Science promoters push it heavily to the public and belief
   levels are quite high. Large foundations put their financial and
   promotional support into science education and also into the
   tools required in the direction of SUSY. So, even if results are
   faltering, public moral and financial support will likely
   continue for some time to come, as long as the big 12 promoters
   keep talking and inspiring people to dream of a connected
   Science and a generally Logical Positivist future.
