Never had trouble. Idk why. I never saw teachers as above me. They're just doing their jobs and I was doing the job I had no choice in. [sitting there]. Probably by 4th/5th grade I realized they weren't all THAT much smarter than me - they just had the teacher's version of the textbook. A few good ones though. But all through school I was like, "eh, I could do what they do and do it better". Probably why I thought of being a teacher. Same with my pastor. I'd see cops and they'd be the older brothers or uncles of kids I went to school with. Local politicians were the dads of ppl I went to school with. Two kids in my class got into commercials - I saw them on TV. So there really wasn't any walls for me in social strata. Guess I was lucky or weird or something.
