Things change around us while we so often wonder what happened
   to the world that existed when we were children. Of course, it
   is a constructed world, limited by our experiences as we are
   typically shielded from the troubles in the world during our
   childhoods thanks to cognitive differences and also, likely, the
   protections of the adults around us. That's my take. I
   personally always lived in the somewhat near future. I want for
   the world to catch up to me. smile emoticon
