I am speaking to the future but my words are already in the
   past. By the time you see this (anticipation that you will), my
   words will be in the even further past than they already are.
   But as long as this edit box remains open, the past and the
   future are both changeable. But the moment I press "Enter", the
   past is a fixed event and the future options you have will not
   include the possibilities that exist in the present now that I
   am in, which is already past. Yet also, you may never see this
   at all. I am writing this letter to a future that may never
   exist, which is already past by the time you start reading this
