I'm attracted to aspects of utilitarianism and hedonism as well,
   moreso epicurean rather than hedonism. I find either position to
   be excessive when taken in abundance. I don't consider myself
   some kind of pure middle ground either - a perfect balance seems
   to be an absurdity to me. But certainly I attempt to be as
   pragmatic while not loosing sight of the need for the
   fantastical
