lol well, i look at this way - they were a surprising couple
   back in the day - you never saw any kind of spanish anything -
   and they were married in real life - and their marriage was a
   rocky one but they were married quite a while. they created an
   act that worked and is funny even 50 years later - that takes a
   certain kind of comedy genuis - and genius people never seem to
   have regular relationships :-) but yeah - i think if he laid off
   the booze it might have worked out longer. they were really
   equals in a lot of ways - equally funny, equally business smart,
   equally hot-headed - and they were bound to butt heads in a
   serious way. but that's off the topic :-) "
