A small but very steady group of people here on SDF update their phlogs daily and it has me wondering, should I do the same? I used to do that with my website (www.xadara.com) and, quite honestly, got incredibly burned out by the experience of always needing to find something to write about. To be fair, the act of publishing the content was a bit of a chore, compared to the "type it, update the gophermap and move along" nature of doing this gopherspace, but still... even that can get tirding after a time. Besides, what would I write about every day? I actually don't like to write about my day to day life, so that's out. I guess I could cover some of the same stuff I do on xadara, or, hell, transpost content, but that would need formatting that would likely be more trouble than it's worth so that's kind of out... besides, you can view the site via Links anyway. Maybe instead of regular phlog updates I should just expand the content here. That 's what gopher is truly about, raw content, so shit, maybe I will. I could always put up song lyrics for my favorite bands and shit like that -- run this gopherspace like I would a Geocities website back in 1999! Hell yeah! Any ideas, let me know. kurisu@sdf.org ~Chris 3:39 PM 10/4/2023
