// AQI. The air quality over the past few days in Hong Kong has been worse than Beijing's. I'm seeing the levels I used to see when I was living in Beijing six years ago. I'm glad I had the foresight to buy air purifiers. I suspect they might be a more common purchase in Hong Kong over the next few years, assuming of course people here can get over the notion that they have worse air than Beijing. Of course, it would be unjust of me to leave this article without mentioning that clearly the measures that Beijing have taken to clean up their air over the past few years have worked (and I don't think it's a case of simply shifting the problem) Also it's unjust to only mention China, while they often get the headlines, to the best of my knowledge, Dehli in India has always been worse.
