Hello again! I though I would write a small update from Japan! I'm currently on the Shinkansen bullet train going back to Osaka, and it's the last few days of our trip. Feels kind of sad, but it will also be pretty great to come home after such a long time. We've been spending three weeks in Osaka, Tokyo and Fukuoka, and we've been making day-trips to Nara and Kyoto as well. Most of the time has been spent sight-seeing, but we've also been doing a lot of shopping and of course a lot of eating too! Japan really is a pretty fascinating country. As a Scandinavian one of the first things that comes to mind is how well the public transport systems work, in particular the train and subway services that are available. they are very punctual, fares can be paid with pocket-money, and the information available to passengers are very good, making it very easy and enjoyable to use! Riding a bus is easy too, just remember to get a station-ticket when boarding, and then pay your fare in exact money on the way out! When it comes to food, there are a lot of different things that we wanted to try. My favorites so far were probably Okonomiyaki in Fukuoka, Ramen in Osaka, and Yakiniku in Tokyo. I'll end here and probably write a more extensive update when I have more stable internet access. See ya! /M
