A small update this time. Fall has definitely hit northern Europe. It's
cold in the mornings, and it gets dark around 17.00, just in time
for you to leave the office, so you don't get to enjoy the sun att
all. It's a bit sad, really. I like the fall, but I don't like that it
get's dark so soon. And the frequent rains. It's pretty cozy to curl up
with a cup of tea, a blanket and a good book this time of year though!

Work has been pretty dreary lately, and I've come to dislike the
situation I'm in. There is a lot of pressure, and we are in a sort
of limbo where we don't know what will happen to our team in the
near future.  Hopefully we will get an announcement soon regarding
that. People are starting to get worried, and are looking for other
employment, which is really sad, but I can definitely understand why.

I changed the gophermap to the phlog on this space a bit too. It
seems that the going trend on most SDF-phlogs is to use "newest first"
when enumerating phlog-posts. I've used "newest last", and was quite
happy with it, but lately I've been thinking that it's probably easier
the other way around. Maybe I should introduce a nice header/footer
thingy in these posts as well? We'll see..

I've also been looking at building a new PC. The newer AMD-processors
are looking compelling, and my current computer is starting to
show it's age and lack of horse-power when it comes to things
like video-rendering with ffmpeg and virtualization. I'm thinking a
workstation build could suit me quite well. Although it would be nice
to be able to play some games as well, now that Linux has gotten pretty
decent support, with steam and proton and all. I don't play that much
these days though. Mostly some "Doom" or "Doom 2" with an old-school
source port. Perhaps some Quake and Duke. Ion Fury was a blast as well!
