=========================================================================== Long Exposure =========================================================================== Title : Long Exposure Artist : Light Blending In Genre : Electronic, Ambient, IDM Released: 2018 Light Blending In has been a personal favorite of mine among the various underground electronic producers I follow. His output is prolific, yet it never drops in quality. From the contemplative ambient moods on "Last Word" to the boisterous plonking beats on "Cubed Blocks", Light Blending In's sound is varied, but always grounded in this innate feeling of reflection. "Long Exposure" provides a perfect mix of ambient and beat-driven tracks, each with a unique sound palette and head space. There are busy tracks loaded with waves of melodic runs like "Hey Boy", and quiet, emotional tracks like "Windy Water". Light Blending In takes a backseat a little bit into side B of the album, though, passing the baton to a cast of other well-known producers in the underground, such as Sangam, Plains Apparition, and of course, long time friend and collaborator code abi. The rest of the tracks on "Long Exposure" are remixes by these various artists, and their contributions make the album lengthy, but varied and full-bodied, exploring the melodies and sound palettes of Light Blending In even further. All in all, this is a phenomenal electronic album, one that fans of ambient, vaporwave, IDM, and the like will definitely enjoy. Favorite Tracks: Red Bay, Jaded Eyes, Windy Water
