Typically, the math rock sound has been dry, intimate, and crisp, so as to
exhibit the talents of the guitarists and drummers. However, Vasudeva takes
that idea and turns it on its head, prefering a more grand, open, and large-
scale sound common to post-rock groups like Sunlight Ascending and The
Shaking Sensations. These math rock riffs are still just as tight and
expressive as any other album, though, featuring summery progressions,
catchy licks and turns, and complex patterns. Crisp, full-bodied production
really makes this a unique math rock LP.
