PORTABLE BOATS

If you've been following along with reading here for any length of time,
then you have probably realized that I enjoy things that are minimal and
portable in design.

Or at least I comment on them.

Well, today I came across a company [ http://www.woodenwidget.com/ ]
[woodenwidget.com] that makes plans for portable boats.  They don't even
make the boats, just the plans.  These are small canoe-like vessels that
you can make with portions of hardwood and fold down from their boat-size
into a large briefcase.

I wonder into how deep of water a person would want to go in these tiny
little crafts.
