this run felt good.  it has been a little chilly here the past few
days, but there was plenty of sun and a gentle breeze.  wait, actually
there was no breeze.  this log entry was actually created on the 16th
because i forgot to create it yesterday.

the truth is, although there have been the usual westerly breezes and
gusts over the past few days, during the time i was out running it was
remarkably still.  i remember that the surface of the canal was smooth
and glassy.

i jogged at an easy rate, picking up the cadence a few times for fun.
