I thought friday the 13th is the day for mishaps... now it
seems this year its monday the 16th. I was woken up early
this morning (about 05:00 AM) by the sound of water, not the
rain outside, more of a running shower... it turned out to
BE the shower, or, more exactly, the water pipe running TO
the shower that somehow did burst open and flooded our
bathroom, the kitchen below and everything else. I sprinted
out of bed, ran down the stairs to cut the water supply...
slipped, landed on my ass... what a way to start the day.

Well, i spend the rest of the day fixing the piping and did
my best to dry up everything (which will continue the next
days). Luckily it seems that i was woken up early enough to
stop the worst from happening, i bet on the amount of water
i vacuumed up that it only flowed for maybe ten or twenty
minutes before i cut the supply.

I end this phlog entry with a reminder to myself to always,
always know where you have thrown your pants before going to
bed.
