A new account on SDF. I find this site while researching, "What ever happened 
to Gopher? I used to love the gopher back in the day." I think of starting to 
set up a gopher site. I think that it will bring me joy, even if I am the 
only person who will ever see it. But then, I run into SDF.

SDF offers me a gopher hole, and if I have some money, they will offer me 
wonders to improve my online life. I have some money. I love wonders. And
frankly, $36 for a lifetime membership is a steal. If I'm going to do some 
gophering I might as well take advantage of the SDF community. Someone might 
see my gophering. Someone may want to discuss what happened to the internet 
(and what's going to happen to it). This thought pleases me.

Maybe I'll keep up this phlog. Maybe I wont. Either way it's a chance for 
some fun.
