whoami

I type 'whoami' at the SDF prompt:

    % whoami
    rgu

So much to unpack. 'rgu' is the initials for my name, Rick Garvez
Umali. My two younger brothers also have first names that begin with
the letter 'R', but they do not have accounts on SDF, at least that
I'm aware of.

'Rick' is not short for Richard. Rick is a nickname that honors some
Filipino actor named Ric Rodrigo [1]. I was born in the Philippines,
and my parents would call me Ricky. Somehow I gradually began calling
myself Ricky, and later Rick. Rick is a whole lot easier to say that
Rodrigo, which is the name on my birth certificate.
