Hack The Planet Mix

ABOUT THIS MIX

I created this mix after following a Twitter
thread started by hacks4pancakes, where they
asked for some hacker culture songs. A bunch of
responses came in (including a couple from me),
and I was having fun seeing what was shared.
So I decided, rather than let everything get mixed
all over the place and lost, I grabbed all the shared
songs and made a YouTube playlist, which totalled
25 songs, and called it "Hack The Planet Mix"!

I then suddenly got an idea: make a mixdisc of 
the songs. Yes, a mixdisc. And not a CD, either...

A MiniDisc. The coolest, most retro-futuristic tech
made that almost sorta got there in the US and Europe,
but unfortunately didn't make it super big (at least
outside of Japan). So I decided to see what I could cram
onto a 74 minute MiniDisc (because that's what I have
on hand), and got 15 of the 25 tracks onto the MiniDisc.

Why do this? For the same reasons we make, or made,
mixtapes back in the day: for fun, because these songs mesh
well together, and because it's a bit of an art form, too.

Anywho, if anyone wants to make their own copies of this
mix{tape,disc,list}, here are the tracks I included!
