#RTC - test site (it won't always suck this much) While researching gopher, I saw the occasional reference to Gemini, which was intriguing. I told my 30-something son the web programmer about it and he said, "i just dont know why we need a new protocol." To which I replied, "Probably we don't, but I respect people trying something new that has zero chance of catching on." Gopher was my intro to the internet back in the early nineties. These days the Web has turned into something boring and awful - like if the Devil had a baby with Television - so I'd been toying with the idea of exploring Gopherspace again. Gemini sounded like something else I needed to check out. This is my first page in Gemini space, so cut me some slack. Before I became an IT drudge in Corporate America, I was an artist - a pretty good one, too, I might add. Here are a couple of links of my work (these go to websites, not Gemini sites.) Finally, this is hosted on SDF.org, which I'd nosed around since the early 1990's and finally got around to becoming a member. My bad for waiting so long - they are a treasure.
