N. White School in Holyoke, MA. If you are interested or know of anyone who may be interested, please contact me by August 9, 2007, at 413-534-2058 or 413-534-2057 or via e-mail at ejackson@hps.holyoke.ma.us. I have to admit that for a split second, I had a pang of regret that I am no longer teaching for a living. But, honestly, it was only for a split second. I know very little about the school in particular. I know that they are probably the best funded and situated school in Holyoke. I know the seventh grade curriculum and I know how to tweak it to make it challenging. But, I also know that I sleep better not being a teacher. It's not teaching that is the problem, it's the bureaucracy that goes along with it. If this email had come in from a well equipped private or charter school, I might be a bit more tempted. If it had come in from a College or University in the area, I might actually be tempted enough to think about replying.
