IT SEC... I have a few opinions I am not at a loss for opinions as you well know. CAUTION... RANT FOLLOWS: IT SEC is not something that most people seem to understand well. This begins with companies who think that network administrators are an entry level job and try to pay them 30K type salaries. Your network admin is one of the most critical people in your organization and is in a position to steal or hack you blind. Most real hacks begin with inside information. Where do you think they get that information? They pay your 30K a year admin 100K and he rolls over. That's how. These business men who think they have the smarts to make millions gamble their millions on a 30K a year kid who's still wet behind the ears and can barely grow a cheesy thin little mustache. These idiots both managers and admins are so naive that they don't even know what they don't know.... It's sad. I can't tell you how many I have run into over the years but I'm really tired of trying clean up their messes. There I'm done for now.... More on IT SEC later. I'm going to make it a theme :) CIAO
