20231023 ======== 8:00 ---- I'm working from home today. I prefer to work at the office. 16:30 ----- I don't like work at home because a working day is looking like today. Many calls through all day and until 16:00 I'm sitting at desk. I can't work at home in such way to achieve work life balance. 17:00 ----- Unexpectedly, my son wanted to go for an afternoon after-home-office walk with me. He usually doesn't like to go out when it's getting dark. We've done 3,5km. 18:00 ----- -- I can't be the Batman. I don't know how to open a door to the roof. Batman is jumping between roofs. Suddenly my son reported an opinion about the superhero during a walk. Possibly because it's getting dark. 20:15 ----- Today's also the second month of everyday phlogging. My workflow worked perfectly. I haven't been burdened with additional responsibility. I can write my thoughts on a mobile with a swift like keyboard and words prediction mechanism. I can transfer them to a Gopherhole from the golden cage of iOS without leaving the second one. I moved almost my all activity from Mastodon to Phlog. I had been thinking about it and it's probably the best solution for me. I don't have to put my content on someone else server. I am putting it on my server and I am doing it without so enormous power which I must have to run a full activity pub instance. For now, I don't see any major losses due to this. I don't get instant notifications from people who follow me, but my writing isn't aimed at that. In the background I'm polishing my English. It will be a long process. For the future goals: - I'm still thinking about a proper line breaks. I have an approach for this. But the base SDF account don't have a crontab command. I will be thinking on work around. - The nature of my notes is that they are short and I save them in separate files. I want not to change the modification date. So that the original files are more authentic. However, I am thinking about putting them together over weeks or months into a more easy-to-read arrangement. - I will focus on everyday topics, weather observations, observations of life in the city and what my son says. These seem to be natural topics for soap operas. P.S. There are probably three most important soap operas in Poland. The first one is /Dynasty/. Shown on TV around the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. The fall of communism in Poland and the splendor of Blake Carrington. I still remember the opening credits even though I was a child. Interesting information is the fact that two horses from Janów Podlaski played on the film set in the Carrington stable. The world-famous stud farm of Arabian horses. I heard this from a guide at the stud farm. The second tapeworm was the Polish production /W Labiryncie/ (translated as being in a labyrinth). Many very good Polish actors probably made a fortune from this not very outstanding, low-budget but popular production from the beginning of 1990s. Again, as a child who was not interested in the affairs of adults in the labyrinth of life, I remember the opening sequence very well. The third one is the longest series of Polish production entitled /Klan/ (Clan in English). I was already a teenager, but I remember the first episode like it is today. The series is still being filmed today. From the above you can see that my life is connected with soap operas. If it weren't for the fact that I've never watched /The Bold and the Beautiful/, I could enter a competition on this topic.
