[Nootropics Notes #0] *please refer to "Nootropics" on my home directory if this is nonsense After approximately one month I can definitively state that the HAC and CAAU stacks are "for me" but the ACC and proprietary Cortex are utterly useless. The former two work FANTASTICALLY, giving me a great boost either at work or sitting down to follow along Udemy courses. The AAC seems to have a slight effect that is short-lived. "Cortex" actually makes me sleepy, regardless of the dose. I am rotating CAAU and HAC to avoid side-effects of/dependence on/ tolerance to Huperzine-A and Uridine Monophosphate. Apparently these concerns do not apply to Acetylcholine sources so it's safe to take the Alpha-GPC daily. I have noticed that CDP Choline (Citicholine) makes me drowsy but Alpha-GPC does not. As I understand, CDP Choline sensitizes dopamine & serotonin receptors so that is most likely the reason. For sleep, it seems I've already built a tolerance to 5-HTP and/or L-Theanine so by themselves they do not promote sleep. However the simple "Sleep Drink" does the trick *every time*. Go Nature. Yes, it is still processed, containing pulverized plant material, but it obviously contains auxiliary compounds that boost efficacy compared to capsules of singular compounds like 5-HTP & L-Theanine.
