Title: 4pm Firefighting on a Friday

Nothing like having a massive dumpster fire to put out
at 4pm on a Friday, but fortunately I was able to put it
out before 5pm and will be getting out on time.

It's always good to have a backup. While we weren't able
to undo the multi-merger one of my colleagues accidentally
did in this proprietary database, we had the raw data
exported previously and were able to remove most of what
didn't belong in the converged record and recreate the
missing data.

I will need to be more careful with what I say to this
colleague, apparently. How she could have misinterpreted
what I said to mean "merge all the records together" is
beyond my ability to understand.
