Title: Work Travel

Spent the end of this week traveling to a
company that hires our students for a tour
and some very nice hospitality. It was cool
to see what they're working on, but I had to
sign an NDA so can't talk more about it XD

I drove the three of us there and back which
was a bit exhausting. Rental cars, especially
big SUVs like we got, are kind of stressful to 
deal with. Much more comfortable in my little
car.

In other news, I did get an invitation to
interview for the job I applied for - but 
trying to navigate returning calls in the
middle of this business trip could have gone
better. They want a 5 hour Zoom call for the
interview, which seems kind of incredible...
but apparently I'm going to speak with each
of the teams I would manage and some other
groups I would interface with. I have no idea
if a 5 hour Zoom call is survivable even with
the tolerance I have built up in COVID. Wish
me luck.

Going to Ohio Monday through Wednesday, then
apparently 5 hours on Zoom on Thursday. Thank
goodness I have Friday off.
