This inspired me to upgrade to arpa so that I can run it. Well,
a day later, I now I got a feed at

http://undo.freak.net/twtxt.txt

I am not yet sold on it, though. There seem to be some features
that are more complex than the flat file idea asks for. It may be
that I just don't know how to use this thing yet. For example,
there is some way to have a hashtagged link that keeps track of
your conversation. I don't see a way you could start a
conversation like that in the basic twtxt client.

Well, let's see if I keep this thing or not. I think I read 
it supporting webmentions, which I have been slightly interested
trying out in the past.
