Did some changes into the aesthetics of the phlog. I am lazy with
my solutions, so I just duplicated the posts into another
directory that has a different gophermap. This way any links to
the original posts should still work, but the main gophermap is
easier to read at a glance.

In other news, I've been getting ready to apply for a job, so I
have not really had too much time for the gopherspace. Been
building a portfolio website to show off some of my work. I have
come to a headspace where I am almost comfortable with the
process. I used to look for the perfect static site generator, but
I have now seen the light and just write it in HTML. I did
basically rip off someone's style that I found on 1mb.club so it's
not a huge job, but for me it is somewhat slow going. At the same
time it is rewarding to be at this point.

This whole thing with using simpler tools started when I
wanted to use pixel art on a Wordpress site some years ago and
found out that their way of resizing an image for every
conceivable size made it impossible (at least for me) to have a
pixel perfect image. I think I even contacted their customer
support about this.

Well, none of that anymore. I do have some different sized
images, though, to have sort of a responsive site, but writing it
myself I just make it barely functional on a phone and focus on
the desktop experience.
