If we could only internalize one truism, I wish it was:

             "Truth doesn't flatter anyone"

No matter who is your enemy, how important the fight, how right
you are, the fact remains that we are all faulty and if anyone
came up with a way to show us on our worst moment, or even on our
random "weird" moments, we would not stand the scrutiny without
embarrasment.

It makes me think that telepathy as a communications method will
never get traction. And also, if the famous "film reel of your
life" exists, the subjective experience of death has to be
described as cringeworthy.
