So, I managed to move back from the wilderness. Living in a town
on the outskirts of the capital area. Found myself broke pretty
fast and been wondering how to decorate the place. At the moment
I have basically a bed and a desk.

There is something liberating about having very few things. The
only thing I find myself missing at the moment is a creative
space. I don't find these cold white walls very nurturing. So I
am planning on turning the second room into some sort of crafts
corner. Thinking on buying a bunch of rough planks and
two by twos to sort of cover large surfaces of the room with wood,
create some shelf space and so on.

As for the other furniture, I find myself drawn towards some kind
of simplicity. If an object can be used only for one thing and if
the object takes a lot of space, then you really need a good
reason to get one. I am not thinking of some brutalistic attitude
here, just a dedication to being inconvenienced in some ways.

At the cabin it was so "easy" to stay active as there were always
things pressing on me. If I didn't empty the hose and hang it
properly, it meant that it froze and next time I needed water
I didn't have a funtioning hose. In the city all of these little
inconvenient pressures can be removed to a high degree. You just
buy machines to take care of it all.

But those machines will break, they will need maintenance, they
need check-ups and spare parts. You probably won't be able to
learn how to do it all, since the inconvenience has climbed up
onto a higher level of the tech tree.

The downside with living a simple existence is the apparent
boredom of it. That's where the creative space will come in.
Also, I think maybe boredom is the natural state of people. It
seems to be the natural state of animals, or at least mammals.
