The work presentation went well on Wednesday, although I'm afraid I may have been put in charge of creating a knowledge base for analysts at the company. We'll see what happens with that. I also passed the one SIEM certification I was working on. I can't toot my horn too much on that one since it was an open book and open note exam. It snowed here again yesterday. At this time of year I always find myself wondering when it will be the last snow of the year. I couldn't go running this morning so I did 7 rounds hitting the heavy bag. My cardio is improving. At the beginning of the month I'll be transitioning to night shift--it's 3 months on and 3 months off. I've bought materials for blacking out my windows. It's going to be rough. Part of my weekend will be spent on doing some volunteer work for a virtual hacker conference this summer. The keynote speakers were just announced and it's going to be an amazing event, specifically highlighting trans and POC voices. This will be the highlight of my night shift months, I'm sure. Tonight at work I listened to the album "Revolver" by The Beatles. I had never listened to it all the way through. It was much-needed. Then I started listening to this band called The Streets and I'm digging it. It's kind of a mix between UK hip-hop and electronic music? It's hard to describe. I love finding new music. I love looking for new things and trying to maintain a sense of wonder about the world. Stay curious.
