My HP 612 Digital Camera finally gave up the ghost and does not work at all. For the last few months the LCD on the camera had been broken. I think it still worked, but the light had went out. A good old 69 cent problem stopping a $50 part from working.<br>
Well the view finder still worked and with a CF card I could get the pictures off the camera. The final straw is that now none of the 3 buttons to change the resoultion, set the timer, and disable the flash.<br>
A quick search on line showed me that I was not alone and the 18 months of usage I got out fo the camera was above average. Now I am sharing Zoe's camera, like I did at Fort Casey. The camrea is a nikon coolpix 5700 a point and shoot with a brain and enough options and shooting modes to replace about 4 cameras.<br>
