Mr. XmanMonk Speaks Read an article about a study in Michigan (I think it was at the University of Michigan) which concluded that talking about yourself in the third person is a good coping mechanism for stress. I'm guessing that having someone else talk about you in the third person is also a good coping mechanism for stress. So now I'm wondering, what if two people are talking about you in the third person (as would be natural) in your presence, but neither of them are actually there? Is this a good coping mechanism for stress, despite the obvious other mental health issues? Mr. XmanMonk's inquiring mind wants to know.
