I have the habit of letting YouTube autoplay while I work. Normally
I'm not paying any attention to the sound or video (which is in a
hidden window) and this usually takes me into fun adventures into
        the bizarre underworld of YouTube.

This week, for some unknown reason, the video suggestion AI (which
decides what plays next) decided I should watch a bunch of BBC and
British documentaries and TV shows. From comedy shows to
documentaries about the national benefit system, bailiffs and
parking fines, I've been through it.

This time I learned a lot and I'm amazed how restricted freedoms are
in the UK. From standing your own ground rights, to the power given
to law enforcement officers, the system seems incredibly oppressive.

I lived in London for ~1 year, but I was unaware of so many things
about the local culture and worse, the local legal system and laws.
For example, I just learned the knife I had in my backpack is banned
in the UK. I could have been arrested if an officer decided to
inspect my bag. A simple utility knife.
