        This week I had my first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) class. This is
        something I've wanted to learn for the past years, but I've never
        been in enough shape to attend. To be honest, I'm not in shape right
        now and the first class showed me exactly that, but I'm definitely
        better than one year ago.
       
        I think I've mentioned it here already, but I lost more than 50kg
        (110 pounds) in the last year. I'm not in shape and lost a lot of
        muscle fat besides the fat, so there is a lot of room for
        improvement. I can however do one hour of exercises and not pass
        out :)
       
        About BJJ itself, the first class was overwhelming. There are just
        too many things to learn, from basic etiquette on the mat (how to
        greet people, how/when to ask questions, when to talk, how much
        resistance to employ etc.) to the martial art itself, and learning
        everyones' names. There is so much going on and so much to pay
        attention, it's hard to keep focus. I just have to take things
        little by little.
       
        I really liked it and tomorrow I have my second class.
