-------------------------------------------- Single parent for a while 2018.09.03 20:20:19 CEST -------------------------------------------- Tomorrow my wife travels to Brazil to visit her family, but due to our kid's school calendar we cannot all go together. So I will be a single parent for one and a half week. I'm taking a few days off work to manage the extra load and try to control the chaos. Because I don't trust my memory at all, I have prepared many checklists and documented a lot of processes which my wife handles from the top of her head. She was laughing a lot as I was preparing these. This made me think: what things computing related can I manage and run from my mind alone, but would be too complex for someone tackling it for the first time? And can I benefit from off loading all this work from my head to paper/online checklists?
