# Not dead

This gopher hole is not dead. Neither am I - not yet.

I abandoned pretty much everything I was doing. I had three abdominal
surgeries and one of them was an emergency.

So I did nothing apart from staring at the clock in the ICU waiting
for my wife every day as due to COVID she was only allowed to visit in
the afternoon and only for an hour (which we stretched a bit).

At home it was almost the same, but I stared at the TV waiting for my
wife to return home from work.

However currently I am working again. I do have some pain here and
there, but everything is tolerable.

I tried to manage my gopher content via the cooperation of git and
fossil repositiories, but I think it is time to switch back to
the good old ksh scripts here on sdf-eu. I will keep only the fossil
repo and write/edit the files locally using my scripts.
