# Sick

Yesterday afternoon - after I wrote about my negative COVID test in
the morning - my wife called that she is sick. I only had 20 minutes
of work left then I drove home to her.

She had fever and we did another COVID test in the evening which also
turned out to be negative. As the fever did not go away at night, she
called in sick this morning. I also opted to work from home today
should she be seriously ill. However around noon she already felt
better. Nonetheless we'll do a couple of tests just to be sure.

Yesterday at work in the office I wanted to synchronize my passwords,
but there was no answer from my Pi. It is connected to a power lan
adapter and does not use wlan. Unfortunately this adapter is not
always reliable randomly just dropping out of the network. The two
other one of the same type however are doing their job without
interruption.

So yes, as it turned out NetBSD was just running happily on the Pi,
but was cut off from the net. After I reset the adapter everything was
fine again.

In the meantime Let's Encrypt sent a mail that my cert will expire as
the cron job could not renew it without network access.

The Haru Basho is getting really exciting with Takayasu and
Wakatakakage having 11-1 records, followed by Mitakeumi and
Kotonowaka with 9-3. Can Takayasu win his first tournament?
We'll see on Sunday.
On Sunday we are switching to DST again, so sumo will be on an hour
later.
