# Update We had two weeks off in the first half of August. Not really a vacation as there were no beaches or suntanning involved and I was mostly separated from my wife as she stayed with her family and I was at my parents' place. As her father was sick during her stay, my side of the family did not even visit. My wife managed to get a tonsillitis and is even now suffering from it. So I finally beat the Zelda Breath of the Wild game. It was not so difficult, but then a 39% appeared on the display, so I googled that. As it turned out you have to visit all named places and all shrines and whatnot to get to 100%. Maybe once in a while I'll start the game again. Now I am playing Bioshock on the Switch and really enjoying it. I completed my order of the Steam Deck last week. I preordered it over a year ago. Now of course I had a moment of cognitive dissonance over it. Do I really need a new gaming console? I already have my Switch Lite. And of course the price... But hey, why not? I mean I have a few games in my Steam library and I'm not playing those as I do not want to turn on my desktop computer to play a couple of minutes. That is so easy with the switch, I can play when my wife is taking a bath, etc. A click of a button and it sleeps and I can always continue at the exact same location. So the Deck is underway from the Netherlands to me. I got a mail from Let's Encrypt that my cert I installed on NetBSD running on the RPi3 is going to expire in 18 days. WTF? I run a daily task to renew it. So I checked the log and certbot failed miserably. Quick stack overflow search suggested to reinstall python. That did not help, so I updated certbot and now it works. As I learned from nm03's phlog[1] NetBSD 9.3 is available. Maybe next week I'll try to upgrade to it on the Pi. [1]: gopher://sdf.org/0/users/nm03/2022/AUG2022/entry_8
